Local Wineries
The Nature Coast has a number of extablished wineries which are a nice place to visit . Tilba Valley Wines, only a short drive from Narooma, produce Semillon, Chardonnay, Traminer, Riesling, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, plus delicious Port and Muscat. The winery also hosts jazz on some Sundays which is a nice way to while away the afternoon.
At nearby Quaama, Fruit Ballad Country Wines produces some unusual wines made from just about everything except grapes. There are more wines to taste (make sure you have a designated driver) at Grevillea Estate in Bega.
The Whale Restaurant serves a delicious rose from local winemakers, Elysium Wines.
